-How can I play?
Get it from our Store page on Steam
-What does it cost?
Check the current price on our Steam page.
-When will you release the game from Early Access?
On Tuesday, Oct 4th, 2016. Sign up for the newsletter on the Main page to make sure you get informed!
-What happens after release from Early Access?
We would like to provide many post-release patches to keep the game growing for as long as possible. This is all depending on the sales we make.
-Where can I get it from, apart from Steam?
Possibly later from our own website and maybe from other distributors.
-Will there be paid downloadable content (DLC)
No, you only pay once.
-Will there be DRM?
Depends on how you define DRM? We will sell the game from Steam to begin with…later on, Steam keys direct from our own website. But it will probably not be DRM-free because it takes extra work to patch and maintain 2 versions of the game.
-Will there be a Linux/Mac Version?
It is technically feasible, but probably not. For now, we’re only working on a Win version. Sign up for our newsletter to get notified (top right box on the main page
-Will it be moddable? We would like to add this post-release so we can get lots of assistance with balancing, design, localization etc. from modders. Sign up for our newsletter to get notified when the game is moddable.
-Will the levels be procedurally generated?
The levels are predominantly hand-crafted. We have randomized elements such as starting equipment, people, number of resources and animals. We would like to add more procedurally generated elements but the map geography will always be handmade. A map editor might be made available post-release.
-What engine do you use?
It’s built from scratch on Microsoft’s XNA framework, coded in C#. Then, ported to the MonoGame framework. No major middleware-programs are used, such as Unity etc.
